Finding my mojo!!

The first layout is for Challenge Heavens Word Challenge  Where you need to Use the word Smile in your title. with the Criteria: Use Black cardstock as your base. Here i used the awesome Storyboards kit  " Dennison" designed by Lisa Warren. A lovely colour combo!! the second layout is also created using this kit!!  The purple has been really fun to play with!  We had a really quiet time last Saturday Midnight crop at Scrapbooking Delights, really had lots of trouble getting things to work for me and only completed two layouts. The company was awesome thanks to Kim Arnold, check out her work, some really nice work!!

The next layouts were done at the recent Pink Ribbon crop hosted by Scrapbooking Delights and Scrapbook Savy!! Wow what a fun night, between the Elvis impersonator and the macadamia cookies that were to die for!! Thanks to the lovely company and the wonderful hosts Sandra and Sarah for a wonderful night!!
The first was made using the My Minds eye Alphabet soup range, where i am having lots of fun using ribbons and string, really happy with the result.

The next was for the recipe challenge, used some items that i would not use normally, like feathers!!

And the last one was whipped together quickly, happy with this one.

Now last of all i would like to thank every one for their positive comments on my lo published this month in scrapbooking Memories, i finally cracked them!!!
Thanks for popping by!!

A creative Long Weekend

After a wonderful crop at Scrapbooking Delights, i have finally found my Mojo again!! Wow i got several done and will share them with you. The first used the Jelly Bean soup range, i tried something a little different, by adding some dimension.
Here is a close up of the chip board and embellishments.

The second is for the Inspired Blue Prints  sketch challenge (SKETCH #57) , i turned the 8.5 by 11 on its side to try something a little different. In this lo i used My Minds Eye - Portabello road - Cowboy and Flannel papers, really happy with the end result!!.
I used some of my stash to do this one, some basic grey and a special flower that i bought at scrapbooking Delights !
I really enjoyed having a play around with the jellybean soup range, the colours are just stunning and are great for Nayte's current stage.

Then the next one is for my childhood album
I did this one on Saturday, really loving doing the girly pages!!

I'm doing pink!!

First layout was a scrap lift from Lisa Warren, really worked well with these photos, I also used glimmer mist to make my gears stand out from the page. Not usually my style but I am pleased with the end result.

The next lo was completed using some of the scraps i have and really worked well with jacks Big school Mug shots!!

The next layout was done at Scrapbooking delights on a Saturday crop. A great night where i meet Tiff Sawyer and enjoyed her company and made a lovely Memory Box for mum for Christmas.

Here is my first layout in my childhood album i have started and yes i have used some pink!!! wow when you get used to scrapping for boys, i find it really difficult to scarp girl!! so i welcome you to join me in this step back in time to my child hood, i hope you enjoy the journey!!
The first is country gal, really loving using the vintage type odds and ends and i cut up a butterfly to make the leaves.

This is the one and only lo i did last night at Scrapbooking Delights, I really enjoyed the company of the girls and using some of my bits up to complete this one.

And the last lo used some colours that i would not normally use!! i love this colour combo!!

First lo at home in a long time!!

Due to my Boys sharing something really special with me I am home from work and managed to complete a layout for Challenge heavens July colour challenge. I used some of my stash to complete this challenge, a flower i had been saving for some time and some lace i bought at the craft fair in Sydney. The lo is called passing the Wisdom on with Nayte and my father in law Allan. Now i have only one more layout to complete for this month and i have to say that this months challenges are rather difficult for me.

Thankful for good company!!

I am so thankful for all the new friends that have come into my life through my passion for Scrapbooking, last nights crop at Scrapbooking Delights proved to be another great night, Just what I needed after the week I have had at work this week. So to those who were there last night I thank you for cheering me up last night, you rock!! And to my absent scrappers I missed your company and creative inspiration, you know who you are!
The first layout I completed was for challenge heavens word challenge. I again used Ruby Rockets range of papers and embellishments, i have been experimenting with layers and really enjoyed doing this one. The criteria for this challenge was rounded corners and a scallops.

The second layout was the quote challenge at Challenge Heaven Where i had to use "My Friend" as the title, I have not used circles, that much in my layouts, but really pleased with the end result.. And the third is a layout for my project and pays homage to my Dad!! love you dad xooxo
