Some sharing to do!!

Hello it's been some time since I have shared on here, I would  like to share with you some of the layouts. That I did recently at the Savydelights retreat.
The first I was inspired by Lisa Oxley who has an amazing eye for colour and I was truly inspired by her use of mists.
whistle love
The second layout was also done with use of the techniques and one of the tags that I made in the Delights class... Love the way this page come together!!
Thank you for being you
The next I enjoyed playing around with some mist, paint and washi, loved the contrast in this layout and those of you who know me know that t live contrast.. I feel that jack is starting to get to the age where my style needs to suit his age so it's a little grungy !! Thank you for stopping by and I will be uploading some more layouts from this awesome weekend!!

Emerge

Sunday Morning after a crop is always a little bit of a struggle, but i could not wait to share the layouts that i did at Scrapbooking Delights Last night. The company was great and i seemed to have my Mojo back. Four layouts done woohoo!! The layouts that i did last night consisted of a basic kit i put together consisting of:
Lillybee Design - Autumn Spice 6 by 6 Tiny Tablet
Thickers foam letter stickers
Wow Chevron 6x6 Altamat
Wow Chicken Wire 6x6 chipboard
My Minds Eye - Tiny Word Stickers
Studio Calico - letter set

You Emerge come up well using the strips, quite a simple layout but love the colours and how it come up.

Time out, i love to cut up the chipboard, to create the frame, i filled the white space with splatters of mist.
Our Rock walk was another simple layout using smaller photo's happy with the end result.

And the last is for Inspired Blueprints sketch #83 again i put a spin on the sketch using a different page size, pop over and play along!!

At Home

I am so pleased that inspired blue prints is up and running again, i saw the sketch and really wanted to give it a shot, so here is sketch #82.  To play along pop over to Inspired Blueprints . I flipped the sketch and adapted it to my smaller 8.5 by 11 size, it is a very versatile sketch that can be adapted easily. This is the first layout that i have done at home in so long, i must say it took me a long time to complete.
I used the papers from Pebbles family ties paper pad 6x6. i love that they scaled down the original designs.
Just a quick share today i hope you have a great weekend!!

woohoo Inspired is back!!

After a productive night at Scrapbooking Deligts, i have some layouts to share, the first is an adaption of Sketch #81 from this months sketch challenge on Inspired Blueprints.
I have missed this awesome challenge site and look forward to adapting the 12 by 12 sketches to my preferred size of 8.5 by 11.
The sketch contained floral and butterflies so i turned into a more masculine sketch by using the cogs. So love the end result. If you want to play along this month i have posted the sketch, just have it uploaded to the gallery by the end of the month.

The next layout took some time to put together, the vintage theme helps with the overall feel of Nayte playing with the old trains at A day with Thomas.

The Last layout to share is this colourful one using a mini Pad, i love the colour combo and the banners, this is not my usual style but i love how it come together.
Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome to 2013!!

.
A great way to see in the new year is to scrap with good Friends at Scrapbooking Delights, and the first layout of the night, I enjoyed playing around with the arrows, and the different fonts. The 8.5 by 11 in landscape helps to incorporate many photo's and tell the entire story.

The next was done using my Favourite colour combo, orange and aqua. i used some of the We're Savvy Kit - December 2012, that included Bo Bunny Blossoms Harvest Orange Pansey.
A splash of orange and black brings out the photo and the hand stitching brings it all together.
i used rub on's and flowers to create some depth to the layout, really happy with the result.

Children's week proved to be a challenge when it comes to photo's the chipboard boarder helped to frame the photo, the back wash helped to break up the stripe. i do love the Thickers used in the layout suits the fun theme.

Thank you for coming by!!
