A challenging Weekend!!!

Welcome to my new blog readers, i would love to share some insight into how i am mixing things up a little at the moment trying to use some of my stash up and I'm really enjoying where it is taking me!! So here are some of last Fridays crop creations at Scrapbooking Delights starting with a sketch from Scrapbook Savy, LOVED the many layers that this sketch lent its self to, i used some of my old Basic grey papers and new thickers on it.

The second layout was for a Challenge Heaven Sketch challenge, i love the way it has enhanced this picture for Jacks album!! again some Basic grey papers. I was lucky enough this month to be on there Design team for the monthly Cyber crop where i had to design a challenge based on the theme "May Madness". So here is my example for that challenge. The challenge was to use, 3 pattern papers, 3 photos and 3 fonts.

I also had time to complete my other entries for the month including the quote challenge with the title of Gotta Love.... i am so pleased with the end product with this one the colours just rock and thanks to Sara for her doily!!

Scrapping Saturday!!!

Hello Blogger followers!! First i would like to say a big hello and thank you to all my new blog followers!!

I am making a commitment to try to keep my Blog up to date to share my creative Journey with you!!
Last night i had a lovely creative night where i enjoyed some nice company and time out from day to day life.

I enjoyed the midnight crop was a great night, at scrapbooking delights.

The first lo was for Challenge Heaven i forgot to take the challenge sheet, so i tried to remember the challenge and messed it up  lol!!

It was supposed to be yellow on black or white, not yellow with black and white!! i am happy with the end result, but am back to the drawing board for me!!

The second is for Jacks book, I dragged out some of my paper left overs and completed this layout. I have been working really hard on clustering, i loved working with these photos!!

Jack is asking to do homework at the moment lets hope it lasts till he is 16!!

The third lo is for my 52 facts about me project, where i have been finding it a whole lot more difficult to come up with 52 facts!!

I used The Little yellow bicycle clothsline range in this layout and enjoyed using the blue for a change!!

Wonderful weekend

Welcome to my weekend! Friday night crop at scrapbooking Deligts was a great night for a chat, but i only got two and half layouts done. The first is called Complete Opposite with Thrift Shop Paper! Love the way it turned out!! Michelle Turner made a great point when i started doing this layout, i was looking for pattern paper to match the boys shirts, she said that you dont need to match the paper with the photo, isnt it funny how you get into doing things and need reminding to step out of the box!! thanks Michelle!!

The next is for Jack's albulm the photo was taken at the Zoo on Good friday, as you can see i used the greens and browns really happy with the out come. And the last is for the colour challenge on Challenge Heaven. I dug out some old Basic Grey and meet the criteria of Orange, Red and grey and some ribbon.
